Founded in 2019 by Amazon and Global Optimism, The Climate Pledge sets forth to unite signatories to a 2040 net-zero carbon commitment. Immersive design brings the Amazon Nature-Based Solutions article to life, through animation, photography, and data visualization.
Taking the reader through the data
Data visualization takes readers through the Right Now Climate Fund $10 million grant, demonstrating how it will help to achieve a lower-carbon world whilst also empowering small forest owners across Appalachia.
The mobile experience maintains the storytelling approach in a vertical format.
Increasing visibility through docustyle and social forward videos
Along with immersive articles, a series of videos produced and directed by Bloomberg Media was released across the web, TV, and social channels. The video releases corresponded to global announcements, maximizing reader engagement and visibility.
Each social-first video was created, produced, and released in under two weeks. With 85% of people watching social media videos without sound, motion graphics and captions contribute to the visual experience.
