Editorial built for every screen

Editorial built for every screen

Editorial lives wherever people read. Across two decades of publishing work the problem stayed the same. How structure, typography, motion and language come together to make something worth reading.

Defining digital

The studio built digital strategy from the ground up for the first wave of editorial apps, designing and developing the earliest publishing storefronts with Adobe.

Boundless Beauty, created with a small team at Martha Stewart Living, was the title's first foray into digital publishing. Its filmic cover earned the first digital award from the Society of Publication Designers and a place on Time Magazine’s Top Ten Everything list in 2010.

The plugin made a fully functioning prototype possible in a third of the usual time. The Liqueur Cabinet used its first app to secure a round of funding in under three months.

CAPTIVATING ONLINE

The same editorial instinct carries to the browser, where a site is shaped around how people actually read.

GG_web
